Protect the Tract
Skid trails, stream buffers, and residual trees are planned before a machine rolls. We harvest what makes sense and leave the stand in shape for what comes next — pasture, timber, or quiet woods.
A logging crew built on careful work and straight answers
Southern Solutions is a Pinnacle company harvesting timber and clearing land across our North Carolina service area — with the landowner and the tract in mind from the first walkthrough.
Why We Started
Southern Solutions began with a simple frustration: watching good timber land get chewed up by crews who cared more about speed than the stand, the soil, or the landowner left behind.
We set out to build a different kind of outfit — one that walks the property first, talks volume and the stand in plain language, and treats every skid trail like it still belongs to someone.
The company is still young. The standard is not. Careful harvest, a clear plan, and a tract left in better shape than a rushed job would allow — that's the reason we started, and the reason we keep showing up.

Meet the Owner

Owner & Operator
I grew up around working woods and land that earns its keep. I started Southern Solutions because landowners deserve careful timber harvest and straight talk — not a rushed cut and a mess left behind. One tract at a time, across our North Carolina service area.
This is a small crew, and I'm on the ground with it. I walk the property, set the plan, and make sure the work matches what we promised before a single stem comes down.
“If I wouldn't leave a job looking like that on my own land, I won't leave it on yours.”
Our Philosophy
These aren't slogans on a truck. They're how we decide what to cut, how timber is typically shared, and what “done” looks like when we pull off your property.

Skid trails, stream buffers, and residual trees are planned before a machine rolls. We harvest what makes sense and leave the stand in shape for what comes next — pasture, timber, or quiet woods.
02
We walk the property, talk volume and the stand in plain language, and put the plan in writing before work begins. No pressure sales. No surprises after the fact.
03
A job isn’t done when the last log leaves. Access roads, debris, and the residual stand get the same attention as the harvest — so you aren’t left cleaning up someone else’s mess.
